V-shaped fender material "SAN & AN Series"
Easy response to changes in water levels! It alleviates the ship's rolling with high friction from contact with the rubber surface.
The "SAN & AN Series" is a V-shaped fender widely used in ports around the world. The V-shaped cross-section deforms under buckling, demonstrating energy absorption performance. By selecting the length according to the application, it is easy to accommodate tidal differences and adjust the amount of energy absorption, making it widely used as a general-purpose fender in many mooring facilities. Additionally, to reduce the shear force generated by direct contact between the rubber and the hull, it can be combined with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) pads with a low friction coefficient, such as the "ANP type" and "SANP type." It is also possible to use it in combination with impact plates as a measure to prevent color transfer to the hull and to reduce surface reaction forces. 【Features】 ■ Easy to accommodate tidal differences (length can be selected) ■ Various mounting directions possible according to application ■ Excellent durability due to single structure ■ High friction force from contact with rubber surface alleviates hull movement ■ Widely used in ports around the world *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
